Hi everyone,

In this post I'm going to talk about my blogging experience . First of all, I would like to say that I like to write and I love read, therefore, I consider that my blog was a good opportunity in which I could enjoy and learn at the same time. For these reasons, I found very useful the blog because I could develop more skills in my writing and reading comprehension.

Second, I found very interesting the things that I had to write. In my opinion, the topics that I wrote in my posts were attractive. Through these topics, I could learn a lot vocabulary because when I wrote my posts I used web sites about language, my dictionary and the book of our language class (Straightforward).

Third, I think that the main purpose of our blog is that we can develop more skills in vocabulary and can improve our grammar. According to my experience, I would like to say that I could achieve these aspects. In other words, I could notice that I improved a lot my grammar and I learnt new words . In the meantime, I developed creativity in my writing. In my opinion, the blog wasn't a waste of time.

Another important thing that I enjoyed in my blog was about the comments. In my opinion, I found very interesting the idea that we could comment the posts of our classmates because we could express our opinions, ideas and thoughts about the topics. Besides, I think that with my blogging experience I had the opportunity of knowing the thoughts and the points of view of my classmates. The blog was the chance to keep in touch.

With my blogging experience I could improve a lot of things in my English knowledge, and also it was a different way of learning English. I feel glad with my experience because it helped me a lot in my language.

My NeXt EssAy "MoTiVaTiOn"

For my next essay I chose the text "Motivation, Where does it come from? Where does it go? (Andrew Littlejohn). First, I chose this article because the title was atractive, and also it talks about languange classes. Motivation is an interesting topic and especially in our career like future English Teacher. I linked the text with my experience of the school that I have been visiting.

Second, in the text you could find examples about the differents years class, for this reason I understood that students had a different level of motivation depending of the year of class (second, third year).

Third, the author talks about the sources of motivation in learning. I found very interesting these sources in order to argument my essay. Something very important that I noticed was the importance of the self-esteem and confidence of the students and how it could affect the motivation of the students. Then, I found very interesting when the author show us the relationship and the influence between motivation and ability and how it could affect the students' motivation. In the text there are a lot topics in order to do a good essay.

Althouhg, you could find many factors that affect the student's motivation in learning language, one of the most important of this factors is how teachers organize their classes. I found very interesting this topic because in my essay I could talk about what things affect the students' motivation and students' participation and how we can improve this.

To end, my impressions of the text are that there are many factors that affect the motivation in learning and teachers have a crucial mission to improve this situation.

BeTTeR ReAd ThAn DeAd...

First of all, I like to read books. I love read books. Recently I haven't read. I don't want to be a liar but I have read only the newspaper and books of the university. To be honest, I would like to read more but also, I would like to have more free time in order to read.

If you ask me what I would like to read? My answer will be the I would like to read a thriller like "Angels and Demons" (Dan Brown). I want to read this book because I read the previous book of this author (The Da Vinci code) and I liked a lot.

Now, I wolud like to ask about Michael Moore. Do you know him?... I believe that you know this director and author. I read of this author books like "Stupid withe men..." and "Fahrenheit 9/11". I found these books very interesting. Probably, they have a political content, however, I liked them.

When I read books, I like to read them in the underground, in the bus and in the night. A book can go with you wherever you want. for this reason, I love the books.....

ArE ScHools KiLLiNg CrEaTiViTy ?

When you visit the web site ted.com you can find a lot of interesting speech about science, technlogy, entertaiment, business, etc. In this post, I'm going to talk about Ken Robinson, who says school kill creativity. Robinson makes a entertaining and profound speech about this topic.

I like the speech because Ken Robinson talks about something very essential in the people, the human creativity. But if we think about the creativity, what is going on with this matter in the school? Are schools killing the creativity?. In my opinion, I agree with ken when he says that there are education systems that don't take seriously the creativity. These kinds of system want that students learn to be good workers. The schools and their teachers have tha power to improve the creativity but we can see that they are using this power in order to kill the creativity. When schools don't teach subjects like music, art, dance or something like that, they are refusing that students can develop creativity in their minds.

When I was at school, teachers learnt things where I had to memorize knowdlege like formulas, definition, results, etc. I know that is important that students learn theory but they need to practice this theory with another subject where they can think for themselves and can create things or ideas in order to improve their creativity.

I think that Chile has a lot of problem in the children's education, however, schools and teachers know that students have a lot creativity and abilities. For this reason we have to find this creativity in the talents and capacities of the children. It is a difficult work for our education but worth the effort.

With Ken Robinson's speech, we must consider that creativity is very important and essential in the education. Creativity and education have a great importance in the children's learning.

Who is someone I really admire? It is a good question because I think that we have in our mind people that we admire a lot. These people could be a famous actor, a singer, a soccer player or someone of our family.

Well, in my case someone that I really admire in mi life is my mother. She is not an actor or a famous soccer player. She's only my mum and I love them. My mother Soledad. She is so helpful and generous person. She is always doing things for her family, but also for other people. We get along very well. She is completly reliable. I can always count on her. She gives me really good advice. Also, she is totally honest. I can trust what she say. In other words, my mother is absolutely wonderful. For these reasons, I admire and I love her.

I wOuLd LiKe To HaVe a PeT...

Hello,

First of all, I love the animals, I mean, I love the pets like dogs, cats, birds etc. But also I like wild animals, howewer, will be difficult that in a house we could find a lion, tiger, giraffe. I imagine someone with these of kinds of animals in his home. It'll be crazy.

Well, in my case I would like to say that I have a pet in my house. Actually, this one is not my pet. It is a turtle and his name is "Tatiana". Tatiana is my mother's pet. It is a lazy and bored turtle. You couldn't play or go out with it. For this reason, I would like to have a dog or a cat because they are a pleasing company and could be your best friend. To be honest, sometimes is better trust in a pet than in a person. A pet never tell someone your secrets.....

I hope to have a dog or cat, as soon as possible.....

DrEaM VaCaTiOn..

To start, I would like to say that I don't know many places. To be honest, I only know the Litoral Central, Valparaiso, Pichilemu and Bariloche (Argentina). If you ask me, where would I spend my dream vacation? My answer will be that I would like to spend time in Torres del Paine National Park . Some people told me that it is a beautiful place, nevertheless, they would prefer to go abroad. Rome, Paris, London are amazing places but in my case I would like to know better my country. This vacation dream will be unforgettable. I would enjoy the expeditions around the park because in this place I could find a great types of vegetation, rivers and lakes. Besides in this place I would find a wide varety of bird fauna and animals like the condor or puma. The diversity of environments in this place is awesome. Who would I go with? I think that I would visit this place with my family and with some of my friends. The main thing in this dream vacation will be that I would have the best vacation of my life.... I hope that I could visit this place someday.............

Why is education so important? It is an interesting question because I study English Pedadogy, I mean, I will be a teacher. To start with this topic, I would like to say that education is something so important. To be honest, I think that education is essential in our lives. The schools, the universities, the family, the society are very important for our education because they transmit values, knowledge and skills for our lives. In others words, education is essential for our develop. Howevwer, in many countries education is only for some people because they have to pay for their education. I completly disagree with this idea because I think education is a right. For this reason, everyone must have acces in order to improve their lives and the world.

In my opinion, teacher are essential in the education system and therefore we, as future teachers, must be prepared. The goverments, the society and the teachers must transform our system of education. The important thing is that we must work like community, it means that we nedd to have good relationship, good politics about education and a good teachers. If we want to improve our world, our children, our future, will be necessary work together to improve the education.
